As a component of the IB Program, a foreign language is included in the curriculum for all grades. Students at Eugene Field learn Spanish two or three times a week for thirty minutes at a time. Lessons are filled with music, holidays, cultural tidbits with the focus on conversational Spanish. After several years of study, students will have a wide array of vocabulary and practical knowledge of the language.

Students often have the opportunity to practice their new skills with the native Spanish speakers at school. Learning Spanish at Eugene Field is fun, useful, and exposes the children to new people and countries of the world.
